Neebo doesn't measure temperature, but the thermal state. The reason is that the temperature of extremities and actual body temperature may substantially differ from each other. The feature itself is based on the research that extremities lose heat if a person is too cold, and vise versa, gain heat if a person is too warm. So Neebo just monitors the change in wrist temperature against the reference range for what is considered as the temperature comfort zone for a child. In order not to confuse parents we don’t display a numerical temperature within the app.
